Piggy makes these kind of plays often and i dont really understand them. We cant be shoving for value as no weaker 7s are going to call so i feel like we have too much equity to be overbet shoving this spot as a bluff. Maybe the anount of folds we should get are enough to make up for the times we overbet shove and get called to make it +ev ?
I guess piggy puts him on exactly 8x thinks he is gonna fold it out enough that even the times he gets called by Tx or a rivered flush its still +ev. Not sure the math on what % this play needs to be correct tho.
