Hi, Can i call T shove with FD and gutshot?
Hi there pokker85
9 outs for the flush draw, 3 outs for the gutshot (don't count the 9d twice). 12 in total, not counting 3 x J, which is probably fair, if opponent is all in. 12/(52-6) = 26% to win, with 30% pot odds. So, no, you can't call. Not even close.
FYI, I'd generally avoid the double barrel on the paired board. If opponent smooth calls the flop, he likely has something and wont fold, or is planning to raise the turn, even though he has nothing. Even ace high isn't folding for 60 chips.
Hope this helps
yes, that makes sense.
Follow up question.
Assuming readless and from villains perspective. This board is probably cbet close to always, right? I'm pretty new to hypers and struggling in these spots. I'm x/r here a lot with 2overs, Ts, FDs. Should i be looking to x/shove or x/r small and fold overs to a 3bet, call with Tx and FDs? Should i just shove the whole x/r range? Also not sure what kind of hands i'm flatting here then since he has such a wide range and should fold so much to a raise.
