Villain is passive and fairly spewy, in hind sight I feel like i should have raised bigger preflop, bet close to pot otf and overbet jammed the turn with the hope of getting called by a weak pair or draw.
Any other thoughts on the best line to take here? and as played should I have called the river bet/Jammed?
Thanks

i´d say you played it fine. the runout is really horrible. his range here should be 2pair+ most of the time. no reason to hero call here. i´d probably have bet small on the flop (to induce and to get away with smaller sizes in the long rung when i am OOP, plus i really don´t mind him calling with 2 overs like 97 here and catch top pair) and big on the turn.
cheers

Thanks,
I folded the river and villain showed 9To with a spade, it had me reelin:)
well, sometimes you´re unlucky to run into someone who calls when he shouldn´t and who gets rewarded for it. but in the long run those guys will pay your rent. just make a note to let him bluff when you have value and catch farely wide.
