Villain was aggro and had been 3-betting me somewhat light. Did i play this hand too passive?
Whether this is the best play or not (I'm a $1.5 player at the moment :) ) - as played preflop - I would shove the flop. If the pot wasn't already so big I'd make it a pot sized bet but doing that with 600 currently in the pot will leave you committed anyway.
My reasoning being that I know any club, K, or A is going to scare me out of the hand. That's 15 cards that could come on the turn which makes betting or calling a whole lot scarier on the turn.
Preflop I would probably just call his initial raise?
This was a 4bet pot. If an aggro player is checking the flop in a 4bet pot, esp this flop, then I would imagine it would be for strength because he would be bluffing the flop all day long.
However, if you flat call a 4bet with QJ then you should be getting it in with top pair on flop or turn every time, otherwise why call in the first place?
If we putting money in on the flop are there any worse holdings villain might call us with? I don't see how come we stack off on the turn. If villain is aggro and 4betting us light i assume he has tons of Ax in his range.
pre: just flat. i don´t want villain to fold hands like Q4o or J2o.
flop: this is a gross spot. you got 4bet, you have to assume you´re close to drawing dead. if you get it in OTF, you never get it in good. if you get it in, your best case scenario is AcKc, which makes you a 45% dog. when villain checks back, it´s either AK with the wrong suits that got afraid (many people still would stab here), or a monster, like a set of queens. since villain checks back, i am leaning towards a monster and villain being "transparently tricky".
to sum up: pretty much all of your options on the flop are bad, because despite you having hit TP, given PF action, you actually missed the flop entirely.
the only conceivable action you can take here without too much damage is to check fold the flop. i know, it looks moronic to fold top pair, but how many bluffs does villain have here? not too many. which brings me to preflop again: why would you 3bet call QJs if you´d have to fold top pair on the flop? with a hand like QJs against a 4bet, you are looking for a strong combo draw like T94 with a FD, trips or two pair. that didn´t happen, so prepare to muck your hand to any bet.
turn: you did not improve. give up. further more, you only have 2 outs left against AA or KK, so drawing becomes even more pointless. besides you could be drawing dead against queens full.
river: nothing else to do but folding

You are right that the my 3bet preflop got me in this gross spot.
QJs is indeed a hand with which flatting is better than raising because by doing that we keep in weaker hands. If we raise we play a 4bet pot where we know that villains range might include better Qx and Overpairs or Overcards.
you are correct next time just call dont 3 bet this hand as it plays well on flops
that said as played i believe u have to lead the turn to get information
once the villain checks the flop its very polarised its either strong holdings (AA, KK or AQ) or complete air (also some JJ TT hands)
i think a lead on the turn here is much better and i would fold to a jam
