Should have pushed river imo. Got to bet to win in this spot or your just check/ folding the river which makes check raising the flop and leading the turn pointless. You told a goodish story, although turn bet was way too small, a river bet would have gotten a fold. At this level villian is never calling a push here unless he, obviously, hits the 9 or A. If he did call, no big deal, you've lost $0.50. It's not a bad thing that he saw you're capable of this with air. Taking the same line with a nutted or semi nutted hand may get him to call down light.

I agree, it was necessary to put more in the king and push the river. I wrote to him Nots, next time I will put for value all 3 streets.
its a pretty draw heavy board and when we complete our straight it often completes higher straights that said i would lead flop turn and river (unless he raised my lead which i fold too most likely)
bigger bet on turn "shop theory" says a bet just under 100 is more likely to be called than a bet just over 100 (kinda like a car sales man put a car at $9,999 instead of $10,000 the 4 figure sum looks cheaper hopefully attracting more customers)
Yes, actually you can not put a king in my hand a little equity against possible matches and straight draw my senior. The fundamental error of course is that I have not fulfilled the game plan, I plan to play a check raise on the flop, and further aggression play a fold.
i think the problem with check raising non all in with gutshot straight is that it makes continuing the bluff on turn and river harder because we have bloated the pot if we bet out for 40 and just get called we can bet the turn 100 or 105 and still have a pot sized bet for the river bluff. i think it was the check raise that forced your hand in playing the smaller turn bet so you would have enough to make a decent bet for river.

Agree with levenen. This deep there was no need to take this line. If it was me and I did this with 760s, which I wouldn't unless villain had a high fold% to a flop ckr and certainly not on this flop, I'd continue all the way to the river. A big turn bet like 180 would have, imo, gotten a fold. At this level villain isn't thinking you're betting big as bluff or even for value, he think's ''he's betting big so he MUST have it''. Be more aggressive(within reason) at the micros and you will get more folds than you should especially when you triple barrel.

QT8r is a nice texture to check raise bluff in PLO, but not in holdem. the GS is not worth chasing.
Fold flop. c/r is a bad idea with your holding as there's a ton of hands that will call and ur crushed by the range of hands villain continues with. There aren't any good cards to barrel ott or river so you are basically building a pot with next to no equity in a spot where you are unlikely to get many folds.
Standart: check/fold flop.
The best way to make a move, imho, was call down flop and check/push river representing straight.
Never check/folding a GS 25bb deep. Calling is perfectly fine.
You c/r a polar range here, so you need to put in a larger c/r and then a large turn bet and shove river. However, the Kx isn't the greatest barrel card, so you could shut down potentially. Still need to make a larger c/r on the flop though. Pot odds are irresistible if opponent has any piece, or even if he just thinks he can float.
