Should I play the hand different.
i think its played fine
there could be an argument for check raising flop with the flush and straight draws but i think its still ok
lead flop
lead turn
lead river
Why lead? I 'm not asking because i disagree, just because I don't know which is better leading or x-raising.
I´d lead for the following reasons, which of course is just my opinion and open to debate:
being able to XR needs villain to bet, which he might not do given the draw heavy board. it´s ok to check back a large portion of his range, like bad 9x, 4x, all sorts of gutshots he doesn´t want to get raised off, bad flush draws like 52 that don´t get the odds to call a XR all in. now there is quite a large portion of his range that he may check back the flop, but call a lead with. also it´s likely villain will do us the favor and raise our bet if he has a good Jack or a worse two pair.
also leading ourselves increases the odds of getting the money in by the river, which might not happen if we leave the initiative to villain.
