I don't know about the turn raise; sure he's barrelling lots of A turns, but he's just gonna call w/ an A or J or FD, and you're only getting value from the rare FD. I'm between check/folding and leading here, since I don't think a call is profitable here. As played, river is a pretty std fold.
dont like ur play at all but ur gameselection is even worse.
I agree my game selection is poor but since I've donated 3 BI's to you, can you be more specific about what you didn't like? I call the PF min raise and flop middle pair, check call (is this bad?), decide to make a play at the turn because based on previous hands, I am virtually certain he does not have an Ace. When he fired on the river, i couldn't think of a hand he could have without an Ace in it unless he had some weird two pair or something - is my thinking completely wrong?
I won't question your turn read, but if you're certain he doesn't have an ace why not just call and let him bluff the river? If you're going to raise at least make him pay to draw in position, calling for 120 there is not really bad with a good flush draw or some combo or a jack, so you're really just giving value OOP to draws or pairs that are slightly better than your pair.
I don't recall reads on micide and I'm not on my regular computer so I don't have them, but I do recall him having some "leaning" tendencies, whether they are tag or lag I don't recall, but based on this hand I'd doubt he's very lag, you don't see a lot of small ball from the lags on Stars (thank god).
Good point with the turn raise, I didn't raise enough if I didn't think he had an Ace. Really appreciate the feedback here, I was happy with the result in the hand but was trying to figure out if I was a donk that got lucky or did I make a good read - below is the full hand:
