$3.5 Mid Pair against calling station OOP

Well in the 80 hands we played he had play more OOP than IP, 68/22/88/17, standard fish but what is his range of C/R assuming he has at least some idea of my 3-b range, i think i was beaten in that flop, this was in the fifth hand so i didn't have any information about what his bluffing range and C/R was, later i realized that he liked to bluff a lot with air or bottom pair in dry flops.When should i fold those mid pairs to an overcard to those calling, weak and random button clickers???$10/$20 No Limit Holdem • 2 Players Hand converted by the official HUSNG.com hand converter BBHero$1376.00  BTNshiiiza$1624.00  Effective Stacks: 69bb Pre-Flop ($30.00, 2 players) Hero is BB shiiiza raises to $60.00, Hero raises to $200.00, shiiiza calls $140.00    Flop ($400.00, 2 players) Hero bets $280.00, shiiiza raises to $560.00, Hero folds    Final Pot: $1240.00 shiiiza shows shiiiza wins $1240.00 ( won +$480.00 ) Hero lost -$480.00

I just call PF because eights

I just call PF because eights play pretty well small sized pots but not very well in huge pots with bad stack-to-pot ratio. As played I bet/call. Check isnt bad either.

I prefer not 3 betting and

I prefer not 3 betting and just calling. It's just the 5th hand in the match, but if you have already some hunch that he's stationy and bluffy like this, then especially i prefer not 3betting since you almost always have overcards and its hard to play this hand against an opponent that will bluf and float to much. As played i dont like bet/call. I'd either bet/shove or bet/fold and probably choose for the latter most of the time if my opponent is new and i don't have any reads on him yet.Why i dont like bet/call is because in that case: 1. many overcards will come on the turn and you'd have a hard time continuing woth the hand 2. you let him realize his equity for free (assuming you check the turn) and if he has a hand like he has (2 overs to your 8 + possible backdoor draws) he will draw out on you around 1 in 4 times. 2. if you check/call planning to check both turn/river you might get bluffed of your hand also a decent amount of the time.Getting raised here on a dry board is ofc. very suspicious and if you only have any kind of hunch he would be flat-calling Kx hands here i'd shove. Shoving might be strange then because ofc. you're hardly getting called by worse here but i think it's more important to protect your hand against futher bluffs and make him not realize his equity for free which he would if you check turn and he'd check behind. That said... with no reads i'd just bet/fold.

I mean my b/c ==> bet/call

I mean my b/c ==> bet/call shove or bet/shove. Pointless to bet-call his minraise, we are commited anyway and just giving him 12-24% "cheap" equity.

This is an annoying spot, for

This is an annoying spot, for sure. I'm OK with the 3bet pre (would probably flat 77). The biggest issue I have is your flop sizing, it's way too big, especially if your plan is to bet/fold. Think through what you're going to do against different actions and make your size accordingly. In this case betting bigger doesn't accomplish much and loses out on more when you fold to the raise.

definitely fine 3bet, folding

definitely fine 3bet, folding is fine once he shoves and we dont have relative reads
