This one is gonna be the last hand for today.

First of all: Villain seems to be a competent player (if there is something like that on 7s ;-)

So here are my thoughts: I guess preflop call is standard. On that flop i assume Villain to cbet 100%.

Lets say, his non-AI 3bet Range consists of 88+, KJs+, KQo, and some suited hands like 32s up to T2s. Villain should not hit that board quite often, assuming above mentioned range?! (no flopzilla here, so can't calculate how often he hits here)

My initial plan was to float flop and try to take it away on a turn, should he check to me. Turn gives us second pair and Villain shoves. I thought turn was actually a good barreling card for villain and therefore decided to call as I expect him to shove with many worse hands than my second pair!?!?

How do you guys play this hand?

Also. How do you assess Villains line here?

  • Villain wins 1000 ( won +470 )
  • hero lost -470
