Against a regular player without too many reads.
My guess here is he doesnt have never bottom pair or middle pair, maybe he can 7x sometimes but not that often, so my plan was float on a kind of trap because Im pretty sure to have the best hand.
My question here is, is it better to play like this (call flop + ship turn) or go in on the flop?

I'd say it depends on the board but with a flush draw on the table I think best option is to reraise 120 directly. If he calls he either have pair/flushdraw.

Student who eventually gonna crush. Just learning. PM if u need a analyze-buddy.
I'd call the flop, cause we got best hand majority of the time and villain prolly shuts down with his bluffs, so we can easily get into showdown.
As played, I fold ott, what do u want to accomplish by raising? If u think he is bluffing, just call his bets down until river. But I do not think villain has enough bluffs in his range after he takes this line.
Hi there AGT89
Without too many reads, I would fold the flop. I think it's borderline okay to peel one, and try to hit an ace or a king, but I wouldn't take it any further than that.
Be interested to hear your views guys.
Hello guys!
Axif, u said "As played, I fold ott, what do u want to accomplish by raising?"
Well my type of thinking on this spots is: I have the best hand and the pot is big enought, I dont want to give a cheap river card so I dont want to get outdrawn, conclusion I ship it in.
I dont know if its the right thinking process but its what I thought xD

it´s the 15/30 level. you should have acquired some reads concerning his BB play OTF. is it his first donk? how does he play against your perceived ranges?
sorry to disagree, but your turn raise is probably the worst possible line. you will only fold out his bluffs and it´s pretty unlikely he has too many of them in his range.
i´d agree with adam that it´s probably best to fold the flop, although i don´t really mind a peel. i think both plays are ok, but shipping is really not good. i´d say: fold > call > jam
when villain fires again you have to make a decision for your whole stack, because calling the turn and folding the river is super bad. even if he bluffed the flop, the T hits his range really well. you should most certainly give up now. your stack is still big enough to win the match. folding the turn doesn´t make you a lesser man. if you want to be a winner at poker you have to accept you are being bluffed at from time to time and that sometimes you fold the better hand. it´s ok to do that. there is no shame in folding AKs on a board that you miss entirely.
Hello Dipl.Kom
Every reply is welcome, so dont worry to disagre, so thanks!
You are right when you say I should have some reads already. Thats what Senti explain at the begining, so many players make this mistake thinking they are blank on the second level of the match, well I was one of these, but now I know I should be gathering information since the fisrt hand.
I accept being bluffed ofc, but on the flop I think its too obvius I have the best hand, so I dont really like folding. As all of you says, I prefer to just call and keep their air on his range, I think the main problem comes on the turn, but yeah, now I think I woulda fold the turn.

that depends on villain´s tendencies. there are villains against which i would never fold it and there are villains against which i would never think of calling. against an unknown player you often do better taking a conservative (in the most literal sense of the word) route. do you remember how he used to play (marginal) value OTF when he was OOP? or did that never occur until that hand? maybe you can elaborate a little more about how you perceived him to play.
cheers

Well I woulda say his marginal hands he plays check-call, and his strong hands he check-raises, so the conclusion is donkbet = air and sometimes draws?
Against that range would you jam or flat (on the flop) ?
Cheers
