Andy 'mightmad' Lee about his 2015 goals and how he manages to keep them

On January 6th, Andy 'mightmad' Lee posted his 2015 goals, which are really ambitious (CLICK HERE)

Summary of goals :

  1. 400 games a day 6D/W
  2. 3% EV overall
  3. Work on mentality (not checking graph that often / not caring about how I'm running)
  4. Maintain going to the gym 3 times a week

Today I asked him about his grind this month:

I did state that I wanted 400 games a day for 6 days with 3% EV. Unfortunately, I was not able to keep up that volume because some days the volume is just not that good and generally it's quite hard when your friends/family are asking you out and such. However, I was able to putm in 7000 games this month, which is probably the most I've ever done in a month, and hopefully I can at least maintain that. EV wise I hit 4.92% after 7k games 6 tabling, bought a new monitor to fit 6 tables easier and that helped me a lot.

Regarding working on my mentality, I haven't really read anything this month but the fact that my EV is at 4.92 allowed me to not care about how I'm running, knowing that in the long term I am able to result anything above 3.80% EV meaning that my variance is not that high. I hate tilting because of result orientated and being so short sighted about a day or two of grind, so I stopped caring whether I'm up or down because I know for a fact I will be up the more I play ( as long as I'm not tilted )

thanks man :) trying my best, always had a problem being too result oriented which can quicky put me into tilt. Tilting is such a waste of money and unnecessary emotions.
