Hey guys!I joined this membership site about 2 days ago. Previously I have watched some videos that are free but now decided to make the investment. I really think that this site is great and keep up the good work!I've been playing poker on and off for about 2-3 years. Always in micro stakes and in full ring or 6 max. I've always deposited something like $10 and have build from that. Usually I get tired of poker in couple of moths of intense playing and withraw my funds to carry on after a little brake.I did the same about 2 weeks ago and increased my bankroll to about $70. I started playing HU SNGs. I've read about HU before and know the basics and everything was going pretty good. Made some good decsions and of course many bad ones ( as we beginners always do).I don't get discouraged when I loose like 3 games in a row because I know that my skill level is enough to get that money back. But now I feel like I've hit a brick wall or something. Last 4 days I've been only loosing (well winning some games ofc but generally). Of course I've played some games terribly bad but I don't thik that I've played that bad. I just played in a HU tournament where my first (and last) match lasted for about 25 mins. In that match I seemed to miss every flop, when I did hit, I got the 3d best pair. I hit the best pair 1 time. When you usually play then you get loads of draws you can try to make if you want. I didn't even get those. When I had decent hands, the flop came a drawy low board. If I played with hands like 67s, 78s the flop showed high cards most of the times. In many matches I just can't play because my hands come like Q2 os etc. Hands I know I must not play with (well it also depends on the oponent but...).I know that every player gets downswings and I've had them, but nothing like that.I don't quite know why I made this post. Probably to just write down my frustration. So sorry guys that I can't tell you a wonderful success story that encourages many of you to carry on on this difficult poker path. Take care, run good,Tomi
Greetings! We all know what you are going through all to well. Stay encouraged and learn from the resources available on this site. As you continue to learn you will be able to deal with all the different crap that comes up in this cruel game. You will even start to overcome being card dead by looking for good situations to take down pots (did I really just type that).PaulIB_FishingNeeds to learn to apply what I just typed
