Is the "Fish" really the best target in HU Poker?

Hi everyone,
after talking last week about the 4 men HUSNG I'd like to talk about the best targets. In my opinion the
Fish (-18%ROI and worst) is clear a good opponent to make money. But that's not all. After playing now over
5.000 HUSNG there is another group of very interesting players to play against: The "Non Winners" which had an ROI betwenn -4% and +4% ROI. I think for more skilled players these group is so good because they mostly play a solid ABC poker. Cause of this they are very easy to read which it make it easy to bluff, to lay down a strong hand or to under value bet your second pair with good kicker cause you know you get paid off. These are my experiences in the mid stakes from $20-$50.

What do you think I am right? I hope anybody will comment who have also an ROI over 15% in these stakes.

I still think that the fish

I still think that the fish are the most profitable, but I understand your points.

Often times it's much more clearer to us how to exploit the -4 to +4% players, but that doesn't necessarily mean that those exploits give us more profits.

I think a lot of players just assume they have bigger edges on the better players because it's much more comfortable to play them and have a better idea of their ranges, which turn out to actually be solid, not always easy to exploit ranges.

The fish, on the other hand, may not always be doing things that are easy to read specifically, but their ranges are so out of balance (in the worst of ways) and their fundamental bet sizing, line taking, timing and other tendencies are riddled with serious flaws, each of which can be exploited very well.

The fish are doing things

The fish are doing things that are so dumb that we don't need to adjust our game to exploit them. In a sense, they are exploiting themselves.

How about the most simple

How about the most simple example -- bet sizing. Good players don't often bet pot. They understand that it's not the best way to get value from weaker hands, and its not the most efficient bluff size. So, by frequently betting pot, a fish has exploited himself, in a way.

*Who is the best HUsng-er

*Who is the best HUsng-er online (excluding yourself of course)?

"That question is almost impossible for me to answer and the reason being that so much of hu sng is about matchups.
Player A could have an edge on player B who has an edge on player C who has an edge on A. I think there are some people out there who if i played a bunch of times, enough that variance wasnt much of an issue, would beat me
but my edge vs the rest of the field imo is much bigger than theirs. "  Livb112

Playing over 5k games of

Playing over 5k games of $20-$50 is a huge leak if your ROI is over 15%... Why do you hate money so much?

Anyway, I'd much rather play fish than bad TAG.
