Folding top pair weak kicker to checkraise

Hello! This is a hand from turbo speed deeper stacked in position.

Is it normal to fold a weak Ax like A4o on a flop like AK6r if they check-raise your cbet?

I think I should call the check-raise on flop and lead on turn and possibly fold to a river bet, is this the right way to play this? If the opponent check-raises often on dry Axx type boards should I 3bet this hand instead because they often barrel after check-raising? I'd rather fold out their bluffs than call three streets with a dominated hand or is it a better play to call to keep their bluffs in their range? I don't think a Kx or weak Ax here would check-raise me so I think villain's range consists of stronger Ax, two pairs, sets or bluffs.

In the actual game the villain had AQo, I called three streets because he check-raised me often on these boards. He did not 3bet the hand preflop (he did not 3bet at all the entire game).

Never ever folding to a check

Never ever folding to a check raise on this particular texture. Why would you lead the turn and what would you accomplish with it? And if I got it correctly, hero is IP, so we cannot lead.

I prefer calling turn and

I prefer calling turn and folding river because usually guys with Kx 6x they just check behind on the river.

Hope this helps cheers

Firstly look at what range

Firstly look at what range your opponent is flatting with and match it to the board texture. Is he 3betting with his stronger Ax hands??? If he is then there are less Ax that beat you in his c/rsing range otf so you can be more confident in continuing. If villain is only flatting 40% oop and not 3betting often then this flop hits his range hard and you should be wary.

You shouldnt ever lead the turn in this spot, once villain c/rses otf your hand should be played as a bluffcatcher and you should choose whether to continue or not based on villains bet size and ranges.
