Play Money Rise

Fydor_8 started his poker career at the play money tables.  He would earn 10 million play chips and trade them in for real money.  After doing this a few times, he had built up a bankroll for low stakes cash games.

HUSNGs

Fydor had some tilt problems in the low stakes cash games, as many players do starting out.  He found himself playing HUSNGs when he was tilting in low stakes cash, and soon after realized HUSNGs were much more suited to his preferences.

He moved to Full Tilt in 2007 and started at the $5 regular speed HUSNG games.  Fydor initially struggled with some tilt issues, chasing losses into the $50 level when he was a $10 and $20 level player.

Success

Fydor_8 credits his success in the game with having a strong core of poker friends.  "They helped me stay on track over the years," says Fydor.  His love of the game is also an asset.  "[Enjoying the game] has helped me stay persistent," he adds.

Outside the Game

Fydor finished a successful NCAA college baseball career in 2011.  He also earned his MBA in July 2011 which allowed him to land a job as a sports agent.

Coaching and Videos

Fydor has made over 60 videos for HUSNG.com, including many student leakfinders.  He has also coached many HUSNG players since joining the site in late 2009.  Fydor's free $200 match video has been a popular video since it debuted in January 2011. 

Fydor currently lives in Canada and continues to play on PokerStars.
