PokerStars Expands Hyper Turbo Heads Up SNGs

PokerStars has expanded their hyper (super) turbo heads up sng offerings up to and including the $30 buyin.  The buyin levels offered (rake % in parenthesis) currently are $1.44 + .06 (4%), $3.40 + .10 (2.8%), $6.85 + .15 (2.1%), $14.69 + .31 (2%) and $29.37 + .63 (2.1%).

In addition to these changes, PokerStars has also added a 25-50 blind level to the hyper turbo heads up sng structure.  Each level hyper turbo heads up sng has two open lobbies at all times to register.  PokerStars representative Steve also mentioned that "[PokerStars] will continue to monitor the situation regularly and may add additional levels in the future."

Plauzee Controversy

The twoplustwo heads up sng forum has erupted over the news that German regular Plauzee sat fellow German regular Bjoerni89 on two $5,000 heads up sng tables as well as a $2,000 table, while disconnected, and blinded him down, taking about $12,000.

HUSNG has learned that Plauzee had originally attempted to blind out Bjoerni89 about an hour before the incident in question, but was initially unsuccessful when Bjoerni89 reconnected and returned.  Additionally, it has been learned that Plauzee sold a large part of his action (risk) in the process to an undisclosed staker, making the issue of returning funds unclear.  Plauzee has not publicly stated his intentions to return these funds and PokerStars is investigating the issue (PokerStars investigations are private and an announcement about this incident is not expected from PokerStars).  Plauzee has since closed his popular blog to the public.  Attempts to reach out to Bjoerni89 were unsuccessful.
