Herocall= Donkcall?

Hi guys, Im a regular 57.50 and 34.50 HU player, and wanna discuss a hand i played. Instead of playing my limit, i decided to take a shot and play a 230 HU. I played against Plauzee, he seems to be a regular player on the higher stakes in the last months. We started playing, and he minraised any hand from the button. I switched like always a bit up, sometimes minraising, sometimes tripling, sometimes folding from the button. i 3-bettet one time for value his minbet. He never 3bet so far. So far the 25 first hands, nothing special. Than the hand:

Seat 1: PlauZee (1575 in chips)
Seat 2: Eric2441989 (1425 in chips)
Eric2441989: posts small blind 10
PlauZee: posts big blind 20
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Eric2441989 [Tc 9c]
Eric2441989: raises 20 to 40
PlauZee: raises 100 to 140
Eric2441989: calls 100
*** FLOP *** [8h 6h Qd]
PlauZee: bets 180
Eric2441989: calls 180
*** TURN *** [8h 6h Qd] [Ts]
PlauZee: bets 1255 and is all-in
Eric2441989: calls 1105 and is all-in
Uncalled bet (150) returned to PlauZee

*** RIVER *** [8h 6h Qd Ts] [3d]

Preflop i minraised T9s, and than i called a 3-bet of 100 from him. This was a bit marginal, i think, and generally im not calling if the 3 bet is that big, but i did call. On the flop, i think i have to call because i have my 8 outer, and im getting everything after hitting. Than on the turn, he shoves. Now i think, he can have 2 type of hands. Either AA, KK, AQ or KQ or hes semibluffing with kinda AK, KJ, AJ hand. I think any 2 pair or trips wouldnt have been shoved. Mathematecly i need 17 outs to call there. And if hes on the first type of hands i have only 13. I finally called because i put him really on the second type of hand in a high percentage of the cases because: He read me well, putting me on a draw, and provocating an autofold. And he knew thatt i m a regular thinking player on deeper limits, and that im taking a shot, and trying to avoid herocalls.

FInally he had AJ, and my T9 held. He called me a donk, and told me i should go back to the 23s HUs.

What are you thoughts about this? Im open for any constructional criticism.
Thank you for your answeres!

The hand looks fine to me

The hand looks fine to me against someone who can shove worse, but deciding to take a shot at a game so much higher than your regular stakes against a reg sounds like suicide. Why not just take a shot 1 level up or take shots at higher games with game selection?
