I don't see a river card. I assume you hit your flush draw in which case you played it fine.
sorry River comes Qc
Unless you have clubs you should be folding this flop.
If you have clubs then I play it the same a lot of times, especially if I don't think they are capable of bluff raising me on the flop with A or K hi (bc we don't really fold out much we beat on the turn by betting).
I may also bet the turn if I *know* villain would lead the turn with any real hands, to kind of semi bluff smaller pairs/draws and set myself up to either get paid on the river or be able to put in a high success % bluff, as a lot of river cards combined with a big bet will push villain off of anything except a 7 and good PP and if those hands are unlikely... we're in a good spot.
But yea, if you have the suits, call flop, check turn most of the time and usually call the river bet when you hit your queen. Unlucky that he had 72o, but so goes the game vs the fish :)
sorry river was Kc
my hand was clubs
so yes had flush draw mistype
Then same advice except the river is an even easier call.
You beat all 3 of a king 7s that don't make a boat, as well as overpairs and a lot of flushes, so I think you played this hand pretty well after the flop c-bet (which you're making here vs most anyways).
I think in hindsight you should limp your hand pre against this type of player because he obviously doesn't fold his bb to pre-flop raises.
Andrew Yeung
isn't that why we raise in posistion to get him to put money in with trash while he is disadvantaged if he is calling THAT wide mine as well raise 70-80%ish
