This week is huge and thought-provoking. Winners combined for ~$270,000, losers for -$152,000 (8 players).
Alex “Lotte Lenya/H2Olga” Timman and Olivier "Adonis112/livb112" Busquet (good friends) started sitting FTP tables just after relaunching. This week Serkules joined too, playing reasonable sample of 283 games.
Alex Timman crushed PS and FTP tables
He lost $50,000~ in Week #30-#31, but won ~$7,000 back last time. That was only a warm-up. This week he filled his pockets with $68,145 (PS: $55,247 after 850 games. FTP: $12,898 after 91 games). It's his second monster win lately: month ago he profited for $93,619.
Now he is in 11th place with $208.311, although 2 month before he was close to break-even.
Results by month (impressive comeback):
December: +64,627; November: +$28,538; October: +$55,134; September +$60,358; August: +$60,451.
Week‘s graph (PS)
Serkules is hardly reachable now
He won $48,658 (PS: $31,220 after 695 games; FTP: $17,438 after 283 games), and due to SkaiWalkurrr‘s downswing (read further) now has $94 k advantage. Looks like we have this year's winner. Although, Skai still can surprise us. As an example, 5 weeks ago Serk had the $140,000 lead, but Skai reduced distance to $24,000 just in two weeks.
Serkules is up for $870,175 now (2012 Sharkscope list). If he could manage to reach $1,000,000 amount it could attract huge attention from media and make big difference to whole husng community.
So valuable would be to have one more public ambassador for this variation :-) (in lots of ways already is).
2012 graph
Fishenzon won some money back
Fishenzon very rarely wins huge amounts in 2012. This week is one of those pleasant exceptions: he won $32,052 after 566 games. Keep it up, man! :-)
2012 balance: -$15,000
All-time winnings: ~$700,000.
Olivier "livb112/Adonis112" Busquet – biggest winner in FTP
He won $31,713 after 191 games (in FTP), but had unsuccessfull run in PS: -$7,632 after 354 games.
New competition to Serk and Skai is growing
Eric2441989 – is the biggest surprise recently. He is showing unbelievable stability, growing as a player and as a star. He is in 6th place now with $304,221.
Report #33: $12,967 after 1004 games
Last 2 months:
Report #25: $11,371 after 408 games
Report #26: $20,252 after 394 games
Report #27: $11,700 after 436 games
Report #28: $12,410 after 570 games
Report #29: $32,743 after 943 games (showed up in 2012 leaderboard. Jumped straight to 15th)
Report #30: $8,238 after 1058 games
Report #31: $76,659 after 980 games (increased his yearly profit by 30% and moved up from 14th to 7th)
Report #32: $27,899 after 1146 games
We will definitely give him more attention next year, because he is one of those who can surprise poker community heavily. Who knows, maybe in 2013 he will be competing in the same level as Serkules and SkaiWalkurrr?
It should be noted that Eric is playing less games than them on average, but as you can see from his recent profits, when he plays similar sample, results increases significantly. Also, his average stake is 1.5x lower (yet?).
2012 graph
Bjorn "Bjoerni89" Schneider $14,460 after 238 games
Bjoerni89 set an impressive record earning 3,058,660 VPP’s throughout 2011. During 2012 he reduced his grinding time drastically - 78.2 games/week. Maybe next year he will play more often.
„Schneider lost around $90k playing online poker on the actual tables in 2011. However, the insane amount of VPP’s he earned ensured that the German made somewhere between $100k and $400k when these points were cashed in.
One thing that’s really inspiring about Schneider is that he was just another low stakes grinder a couple of years ago. But in a year’s time, he graduated from playing $5 SNG’s to $100 heads-up SNG’s. Just a year after this, he was competing at the highest level of PokerStars SNG’s by playing the $5k games. With his place on Team PokerStars the 22-year-old has gained even more respect and fame within the poker world.
In addition to playing online poker, Bjorn Schneider is also a German university student who studies philosophy and history.“
