Probably is only book about HU, mostly about HUSNGs.
I think it's a nice book for low-mid stakes players, really valuable advices in postlop play (like pot size manipulation, playing OOP, call/raise decisions etc) and many practical examples.
Moshman's book on heads up (primarily HUSNG) is about all there is currently in book format.
I've found the book to be pretty solid thoughout. There have been some reviews of the book on 2p2 (the publishing company that published the book) mostly positive. The one negative I constantly hear is that people think it's not advanced enough nor does it go too deeply into Hu cash games.
To be honest, I like to post and read 2p2's Heads Up forum and think it's the best written work you'll find regarding HU play.
Feel free to post questions like you are in this forum, I'll try to find some interesting stuff for everybody to discuss.
Do keep in mind that as the site gets older (I think this is day 5 or 6) our population will greatly increase and so should forum traffic. We've had great success so far but this is only the beginning.
Guys, Iam from RUssia, Moscow and if i want to buy this book, i just need to w8 smth like a month to recieve iut, may be smb have this book as a E-book or smth ( may be scanned)? thx
I live in deep of Siberian tayga and got this book in 3 weeks (ordered from 2+2 store). It should be faster to ship it to Moscow.
I'm very happy to have real book, which I can read again several times every day (usually in bathroom, lol). I have many E-books, but most of them I've read only once.
Yes Moshman's book is a good starter/primer book for the basics, if you are new then this book is great. If you are a regular to HUSNG then I found very little from this book.
