PISSED - only 15 sec time bank for turbo HUSNGs now

I'm really pissed.  Ry - how can we get this fixed?  This is especially frustrating when multi-tabling, trying to look up the nash chart, or just trying to think about a decision.  What the F?

I haven't noticed, let me

I haven't noticed, let me check it out and get back to you in this thread.  Others should be complaining rather loudly soon as well.
I'd at least like 30 seconds.

If they want the games to go

If they want the games to go faster then they should get rid of the 1 minute wait, not the time bank.

More PISSED

Just wrote an e-mail to Stars (below) and got the generic "thank you for your suggestion... we get 100s of suggestions a day.." response.  I don't like that this request is being thrown in with the "1000s of suggestions a day"... this isn't a suggestion, this is a feature that was taken away and is really making me steam.  I can't be the only one upset by this - so many times I am making up my mind about an all-in call on one table and get timed out at another one.  So then I don't even have a time bank to work with once I'm back to that table's action.  I don't mind getting tilted by my or my opponent's bad play or by a dirty river card or something, but the fact that my poker software has a built in tilt device now is really not pleasing me.
Does Full Tilt have a longer time bank?

Dear Poker Stars,

I belong to a big part of your player base - the heads up SnG grinders.  At least 5 days a week, that's where I am putting in the time.  I was recently overjoyed to find that your team had listened to our calls for a rematch button.  It was long overdue and its implementation has been a huge boon to the heads up games and is a testament to Pokerstars being the industry leader.

Just as soon as my ecstacy hit over the rematch button, it was cleared away by a great feeling of disappointment - seeing the timebank on turbo heads up SnGs reduced to 15 seconds.  This has always been so with the 4-mans, but the decision to have a 15 second time bank for 1-on-1 SnGs is a mistake.  As you know, heads up is a very specialized form of poker - requiring us players to make thorough reads and often requiring us to time bank to piece the puzzle together.  15 seconds is not nearly enough - 30 seconds is adequate, and the regular 60 seconds is ideal.  If this change was made to speed the game up then perhaps your team should consider removing the one minute wait before the match starts.

I hope that you will pass this e-mail on to the appropriate parties.  Thank you for taking the time to hear my concern and I hope the reversal of this timebank decision will come in a more timely manner than the rematch button.

Best Regards,

I just sent an email expressing my frustration as well.

I really didn't notice this change until recently, when I tried to both multi-table and take notes.  After reading this thread I decided to fire off the following email:

Greetings,

I'm writing to express my frustration and disappointment with a change you recently made to the heads up sit and go turbo's.  I was accustomed to the regular 60 seconds you allowed in the time bank.  So imagine my frustration when opening up two tables (one a regular speed game) and trying to play two meaningful games at the same time.  It just wasn't possible.  For one thing, I couldn't take notes and play at the same time.  Heck, this could be a challenge with just one of these modified turbos!  Also, this detracts from a meaningful game.  All players encounter decisions that cannot be made without a reasonable degree of substantative analysis.  While these decisions don't occur in every game, they do occur in some games.

So, as it stands I will likely not be multi-tabling these HUSNG's.  I was completely taken aback when I played my regular game and timed out (once) at a very costly time.  I felt blind-sided.  While I laud your recent decision to allow rematches (which is currently suspended-I hope it's coming back), I'm disappointed with this unfortunate development.  You will definitely lose revenue from me as I won't play two at the same time.  Instead, I will drop back to regular speed games and will play less games, which means less rake.

Whilst I consider you the undisputed leader of online poker and just an incredibly awesome business, this decision is one I hope you consider reversing.  Why not eliminate the 60 seconds at the beginning of the match?  Alternatively, you could reduce the time bank from 60 seconds to 45 or 30 seconds.  It's my belief that 15 seconds is extreme and unreasonable.

Sincerely,

Jeffrey
