There's a long thread in the member forum about this, here was my short reply at one point:"The first thing I'd suggest to do is filtering for position stats. VPIP, PFR, 3bet/4bet, cbet type stats when you're OOP, and the same type of stats as well as flop characteristics (lead, CR, etc.) for your SB stats. That should be a good start."There's also this:http://www.husng.com/content/free-hudsMember only threads (subscription required) are here:http://www.husng.com/content/hud-set-up-helphttp://www.husng.com/content/what-are-your-filters-hud
I would add that it's good to completely separate IP and OOP stats...I put one on top and one on bottom. I also have a "BB" stat, which translates stacks into number of BB, but I don't know if that's available on PT.
Yea I should've specifically said that, but that's what I mean by sb and OOP stats. They need to be separate or what you're doing thereafter is essentially useless in a heads up sng with regards to a HUD.
Ah, what I meant by my post is to physically separate the OOP and IP in different groups, because I often see in videos where all the stats are jammed together and anything that makes reading them effortlessly helps.
Thank you for your answers. Now I have two questions:- Do you know, wether it is possible to separtae the values for OOP and IP with Pokertracker 3. I can only choose between early, middle, late and blind position. Is there any possibility?- Is ist possible to separate the preflop values for each blind level (for exampel, to know PFR IP for the level 20/40 and 30/60 and ...)? I think it would be very helpfull.
I use the following stats:
line 1) #hands, #Big blinds, # of tables opponent is playing
Line 2) SB VPIP, SB Pre flop Raise, BB VPIP, BB Pre flop Raise
Line 3) 3bet, Call 3bet, Raise 3bet(4bet), Fold to 3bet
Line 4) C-bet, Call 3bet, Raise 3bet, Fold to 3bet, Donk bet flop, bet flop, fold to flop bet
Line 5) 2nd Barrel, call 2nd barrel, raise 2nd barrel, fold to 2nd barrel, donk bet turn, bet turn, fold to turn bet
Line 6) river c-bet, call river c-bet, raise river c-bet, fold to river c-bet, donk bet river, bet river, fold to river bet
My Hud takes up six lines, is easy to read and lets me know General info about my opponent and the effective stack level.
It informs me on what is going on Pre-flop, on the Flop, on the turn and on the River.
I know what is happening in and out of position. I know what is happening in limped and raised pots.
I can easily categorize my opponent.
Add this to observing how my opponents play in different situations and I have just about all the info I need to make positive expectation plays.
All I have to do now is learn how to play and how to use this info to exploit my opponent

I don't know since I don't have PT3, and the person I asked, while he knew the answers to your questions, does not use a HUD so he doesn't know off hand how to configure one.I'd check the PT forums and ask there, I would imagine there's a tutorial video on it.
usually u have to program a bit in PT3 to have IP and OOP separated.some of the stats i have done that with the help of pt3 forum.however one stat is not working (donk oop) and others i could not set up yet as i am not good at programming pt3 and do not have really the time to do so.there was a pt3 update recently - i do not have installed it yet - might have now also better hu stats...but overlooking very quickly the release notes i could not see any.i am very satisfied actually with pt3 ..except hud for hu seems to be much better in hem...

Hey Kingkong,The answer to both of your question is yes I am told.
ok, great, but it doesnt work. Could you/someone give me a hint, how I can separate the stats for IP and OOP?

I posted it in the PT Forum. If someone else is interessed: http://www.pokertracker.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=22072&p=158575#p158575
