Question regarding hud.

Hi, just registered after easter vacation. No husngvideos on dc, all the cardrunners ones are outdated and primoman decided to take his videomakingskills over to this place so I thought I'd check it out.

Anyway. I have some questions regarding hudstats etc, currently using the holdem manager one to help me keep control over the action when I multitable especially how often people limp, call bets, cbet flop and fold to cbet. Curious about what other stats that are worth displaying. Do anyone even use a hud :P ? Would be awesome if anyone that does could tell me what "template" they were using.

Thanks!

I think no real HUSNG player

I think no real HUSNG player uses a hud, because peoples play so different in different blind-levels. Someone here or in the 2+2 forum once said:"Its better to 1 or 2 table the 100SNG`s than 4-6tabling the 11-22SNG`s".

Greetings Dikane

what Is an unreal husng

what Is an unreal husng player? :P
I guess your point about people changing gear as the levels change but regarding multitabling I've tried both and are alot more comfy playing 4-6 tables, less variance and "not so personal" I don't care if I bust in 3-4 games. If I were to play 1-2 tables and loose 4-6. What works for people differs I guess. It's also alot easier for me to see if I'm playing bad when I play more tables because I usually review my hands every 4-8 games orso and If I'm playing bad it's really easy to spot over 300-500 hands rather than 100

Sorry for the word "real",

Sorry for the word "real", that shouldnt indicate that ur an unreal player! I just didnt see any person who played HUSNG`s with a hud, that was my point. ;-)

I know there are some people

I know there are some people who do use a stud, but im not familiar w/what stats they use, I would guess the most useful #s would be like:   FoldToCbet%, Call%OOP, 3bet%, ButtonRaise%,   other than that im sure some will be useful like how often they ck/raise on the turn or whatever, cause people wont change that too much over diff. stack sizes, but those first 4 owuld be the most relevent IMO (I still prefer to play w/o a HUD tho)

starting out

I havent used one yet on husng but I can see it could be useful for classifying styles of play in low stakes, most players aren't going to move about too much at that level.
at the moment i use a sheet of a paper and noote how often they limp, call, etc, then what they are showing with, etc

thanks. I just started using

thanks. I just started using a hud mainly for displaying the mucked cards when I'm multitabling because it's stressfull to open the hh and missing out on what people call me down with I think is huge. When I fooled around with the hud I thought this extra information could not hurt me, maybe I'm wrong, it's not that I use them very active any way

I use it

I payu attention to pfr%, CR, f to CBET, Vilain Cbet, 4 bet %.
Its not as good as notes because as others have said it doesn't take into account effective stacks, but its better than nothing.

I use one but more for the

I use one but more for the mucked cards shown at end of hand instead of opening hand history. ;)

Harly ever use a HUD now.

Hardly ever use a HUD now. But HEM is the nuts to review hands...it'll show you your win % chance per preflop, on the flop, turn, and river. Pretty cool if you're having a bad run, and you want to make sure it's just variance, and not you getting it in behind all the time.

I use HM to track/find fish

I use HM to track/find fish while I'm playing.  If I see someone with ridiculous stats against someone else (83/10, etc), I'll sharkscope them, make sure it's not Cog Dissonance (who likes to play some super-passive preflop style and crushes), and mark them as fish to play later.  I also use the stats to help make decisions against said fish, who generally aren't adapting to my play, just playing their game.  Since I play a pretty wide spread of limits ($55-230), I game select pretty hard at the $200 level, and HEM helps a lot.
