can someone explain 0PIGGY's logic on hand #4?
i know its high stakes, but isnt it -EV to bet/call with completer air as float(not even backdoor equity), when stacks are so shallow?
why did he call turn?
I guess he felt Skai was bluffing a lot and he floated the flop with 7 hi with the intention of stealing the pot later.
Then on the turn hit some equity (a pair of 5s) and felt he was better off calling than folding.
I don't know if his play was correct, but that is my best guess as to his general line of thinking (can't get more specific without knowing more about their history and Piggy's thought process).
He had olso the potential of turned straight draw, so he could jam with his draw if skai checked.
meehhh...
Hand #4 looks just like a trash call on flop. 16bb deep so much of skaii's calling range connected with this flop and the expectation of him check/folding turns seems very low. That call on the flop is just a mistake imo.
