Skates question

Yo m8. I was wondering if u would consider making some vids of ur cash game too. I know this is a Husng site b4 someone points that out but i also shortstack cash games as well as husngs and i think it would be pretty cool.

Thanks

Coaching for this is more of

Coaching for this is more of an issue than coaching for HU because it's not-quite-as-adapative.  There's only so far I can mix up my play to handle game dynamics.  At this time, I'm unwilling to make a video about shortstacking, but I might be willing to do it soon.  Soon.

Hey, Skates. If you will

Hey, Skates.
If you will consider to do it, can you say souple words about bankroll management for SS? I mean if I play 100$ reg speed husng's (for example), is it OK to target on NL400 cash shortstack, which needs approximately same buyin? Maybe some other factors, like compare SNG and cash levels (100$ HUSNG = ?/$?$ HU cash).
Sorry if  this off-topic theme on this site.

Depends how deep your roll

Depends how deep your roll is, etc. etc.  I think 100BI for short-stacking NLHE sounds about right for a safe idea, 50BI is okay if you're playing mostly 6-handed and you don't care about moving down if you drop half your roll.  The more HU you play the more of a bankroll you need because the more your edge depletes (that might sound backwards to you but I promise it's right).  For me I think I dropped 30+BI twice in 60k hands.  I'm also running pretty good.

Regardless, I'd move wayyyyy down when you first start.  You'll make a lot of mistakes right off the bat, including a whole bunch of mistakes you don't know you're making until much later.

I have to say though, I'm not qualified to talk about low-stakes short-stacking.  There might be more exploitive lines than those I take at high stakes.  I'm mostly dealing with intelligent, thinking players that I just know how to exploit because they define their ranges v. quickly.
