Hi, Thank you for your

Hi,

Thank you for your feedback.

Regarding the recent low stakes videos:

We received a lot of requests in the last few months to add more low stakes videos.  While most regular husng pros would agree that the same concepts that apply to the mid and high stakes games quite often apply to the low stakes games (Hokie actually explains this very well in his latest video), we have been trying to fill that request.

Croixdawg has had some issues with new videos and that is being addressed and should result in some new videos very soon.

In the meantime, since the start, we have hired Cog Dissonance, then PrimordialAA, and now Fydor as well as HokieGreg to help fill the void that Croix left and add some additional viewpoints from solid teaching professional heads up sng players.  We also have put up guest videos from FrankThomas8 and BigSaje.  The latter was not as well received, but we're always trying to add fresh viewpoints and see how the members like them.  That is why it is important to express your opinions of the videos as you watch them in the comments box on the site, so that we can take your feedback and apply it to future videos.  It will allow us to serve the membership base as a whole better.

In addition, five of the last seven videos on this site that have been posted are from a variety of instructors and at the $105 level and higher.  We're trying to get a good variety up there.  For those instructors that have mainly had high stakes videos, we're trying to record more low stakes videos.  For those that have done low stakes videos, we're trying to get higher stakes videos up.  That way when members join our site, they can get low to high stakes buyin ranges from just about every instructor on the site.

I do apologize for the lack of Croixdawg videos lately.  That is being worked on and we've tried to fill the void by hiring extra people in the meantime and putting up extra videos to help replace his lack of recent videos.

I want to thank you again for your feedback, we do appreciate it and it is in our best interest to try to fill the needs of every member.

In the future, for all members, please let us know when you see something you do not like.  Either in the feedback forum or in the individual comment box if it is an opinion about a specific video.  If there's something you don't see on the site that you would like, we will do whatever we can to make that happen.

As for the skilled_sox videos, he absolutely does not want to make any videos for any price at this time.  He's received multiple offers that would open the eyes of many, but he just does not want to make videos at this time.  We've tried to add some content with the interview as well as the hand history breakdown in our articles section of the site, but for now he remains a friend of the site and minor contributor.  Any contributions that he is interested in making on the site have been and will continue to be accomodated, as it is in the best interests of the site and the members to get as much high quality husng content as can be had.

Thank you again.

tx for ur quick answer
do u guys think u could have guys like DIBASIO, PURECASH, or LIVB112, or even FEINT in your team? i don't criticise the guys of the HUSNG team, cause they are interesting to watch and really good players ... but it would just be really interesting to see the thoughts process of the top players at high stakes.

I'll see what we can do for

I'll see what we can do for some of those names.

Dibasio isn't interested at this time (last I checked in October I think) in doing videos, but I believe he did say he would do one or more eventually.

I'm working on another top player right now though and I think it's going to work out.

imho

It's very easy to understand why top players are not interested in sharing their secrets: games will be tougher and winrates lower, not much action on stakes 300$+.
Private coaching is only one way to know about their thoughts processes.

hint: bring spamzor and nlhe husngs will be totally solved ;)

i just posted my first blog, you can expect at least one vid from primo and me together by end of the month (maybe beginning of december if we have problems uploading at the casino)
i might do some guest vids later as well, i'll see how much i like making vids :)

:) Yea, I mean there aren't

:)

Yea, I mean there aren't any huge secrets in this game.  The player that is best at adjusting and staying one level ahead of their opponent wins the most.  Higher players are generally better at that, but it doesn't necessarily translate into the best teacher for low to mid stakes students.

I will put this out there, we have passed on a few big winning players because their teaching style wasn't very advantageous to members.

Dogishead heads up videos, for example, are probably more helpful to 99% of hu cash players than a Phil Ivey hu cash video, just like an xSCWx husng video will be more helpful than a Daniel Negreanu husng video.

So on one hand, I do understand the popularity of the biggest winners, but on the other hand, you have to balance being a fan with who gives you the most value.

Spamzor is a great person for this, as he's one of the biggest husng winners this year and his teaching style translates incredibly well for all players.

Hey guys. I'm member of site

Hey guys.
I'm member of site since Feb. Let me give couple suggestions to husng.com team.

I think there are enough number of live play videos already posted. You need more replays with DEEP analysis of important hands. Maybe just 2-3 hands per video, but deeply analysed.

Also more math-based videos will be great. Something like xSCWx's video vs Brandon Adams.

lovelydonk's picture
2 -3 hands per video with

2 -3 hands per video with deep analysis sounds pretty 'hahahaha"
no seriously i don't think a hand needs to be discussed for ours ...decisions are not that hard to take ...lol but a recap of the main hands at the end of the video the 2 or 3 most important hands (but at the end)

its good to have the whoile video to see the pace (which is important for the metagame and the rest of thoughts process)

just my thoughts

On Cardrunners I can

On Cardrunners I can remember videos of Taunsend and Caby about one single hand. If you dont think during the game and dont want to learn better poker,  its your problem.

How will the people learn HUSNG?

Hello,

I think it should be a mix between some low, a lot of mid and some high stakes games. In my opinion
somebody buy this vids to learn HUSNG's or he will be a better player in the mid stakes. You can learn much
more if you see how to beat your level and not how to beat the $550 Level.

Moreover in the high stakes the key is to use every +EV situation. That's not the key in the mid stakes when you
had as an average player an advantage against a lot of your opponents. When the best high stakes players had an ROI about 2% at the $5000 Level they make $100 per game. At the $20 Level this means $0.40. Will you
only play for this? The different Levels had different styles and so it is good that there are a lot of mid stakes vids.

One addition. In the high stakes (>$300) there is only place for a few players. The best! Is anybody thinking to beat them only by watching her vids? I think on this site you can learn how to beat the mid stakes including the $115 Level. If you want more take private coaching and learn, learn, learn.

this complaint is meh, I

this complaint is meh, I understand what your saying but you have a ton of videos on this site from $220s+ from myself, croixdawg, psimalive, xSCWx, etc. , if you've watched all of these video, it's very very hard to imagine you are unsatisfied with content.  Names like Bas, Skilled, Liv, etc. are just not interested in making videos, they have all been offered very large amounts of money to do so, and they just dont think it's +EV, and also arent interested in instructing in that manner. For most of the high stakes coaches here making videos is probably 0EV at best, but we do it because we like to instruct and help others, and it also generates some students for us from people who have enjoyed our coaching style. While husng.com will constantly be trying to pull in the best coaches possible, you have a very very very solid section of coaches atm, and if you want more high stakes videos simply ask, I for one, have heard nothing but requests for more $22-55 limit videos, and so thats what ive been doing recently.

IMO.... If u cannot learn

IMO.... If u cannot learn from the vids that this awesome team of quality players hav already posted, then u should not be playing husngs!!! My game has increased 500% since i started watching vids and had some coaching, so be greatful that these guys even share there knowledge in the first place.

Well, I'm fully satisfied

Well, I'm fully satisfied with the content on this site so far :-)

I was so extremely busy at work that you guys were making videos faster than I could watch them, so I'll have a lot to watch over the holidays.

However, there's one thing I'd like to see more often: leak finder videos - I mean where a student plays and the coach comments.

IMO these are really helpful because you don't only see perfect play, but common mistakes the average player makes.

Btw. I'd gladly volunteer to be the student in such a video ;-)

+1 on that. I've been a member of a few training sites and the videos i get the most out of are the coaches reviewing a video of someone playing. If you need any videos at the 11.50 level just pm me :p
