Super Turbo, bb decision.

I dont know what to do with a hand like J8 or T9 on the big blind when villain minraising from the button.Effective stack = 270 (about 13 bb) (I have 730 chips) BB = 20Villain stats are 58\50\69(steal)\100(cbet) on 32 hands. Is it better to just fold or call and play postflop?

I'd fold those at 13 bb.

I'd fold those at 13 bb.

I personally like to call

I personally like to call these a lot against a 100% cbettor, especially with a 58% open, he misses a lot of low card flops we can check raise and we hit a lot of high card flops with some equity that we can play aggressively often (particularly draws) and not only are we in OK shape when called, but we should have good fold equity against a 100% cbettor.Of course my response will change based on the specific villain, the above applies to the villain you outlined (if I'm understanding correctly, 58% open raise, 100% cbet).

Isn't the steal percentage,

Isn't the steal percentage, so 69%, his opening range from the SB?Can't we just shove these type hands vs his min raise profitably if we don't expect him to call particularly wide, which most villains don't?

Thanks for the answers! VPIP

Thanks for the answers!VPIP 58\PFR 50\steal from the button 69\cbet 100, so 69% is actually his opening range from small blind.I think we can profitably shove these type of hands, but this particular case I expected a wider call from him, 'cause he'd lost a big pot on the previous hand.
