No, I´m not on tilt, in fact Im on Boomswitch today, running hot. There is my logic for my check. My experience is that people do not Check Call 3 times with just a decent hand against unknown in this spot. So My logic here is that he has a weak holden that is not check calling the river, just check folding, or he is just slowplaying a monster like a Set. I´m just too crazy?
No reads on player, this is the third hand.

I think by the river his hand is pretty face up as KK a good % of the time with the preflop 3bet size and check calling flop and turn. On river you have to go for value. If you think he has a set sometimes you should still be bet-folding river. Its going to be more profitable that checking back in the long run.
If you think you are way ahead or way behind his 3 bet flatting range and that you will only get 2 streets of value from worse pairs then check the flop and bet turn and river.
If i see you checking this river i'm check folding rivers vs you for the rest of the match and probably folding to most double barrels.

Hello,
Well, your opponent certainly isn't calling the flop and turn to catch a king - so he has some sense or hope that his hand is good (or simply attachment to the kings) when he reaches the river. So I would say there is still some value in betting the river. Of course it is a deep stack game and you are somewhat vulnerable to a creative counter-puncher or a set, as you suggest. As expressed in the thread you could play a different two out of three streets here too.
However I do feel you are losing some within-hand value by not betting but further to that it may have a detrimental effect on your future game-dynamics. Although, you can use this check to your advantage to gain respect with future bets - ultimately your ability to bluff regularly becomes inhibited if you're only betting miss or monsters: if as a rule, you want him to let go of turns then checking behind on the river with strong hands won't encourage it.
That all said if your opponent only check-raises any bet with a better hand and/or you feel you profit from mis-selling this image to your opponent then it could well be a good move.
